Located in Te tau Ihu, the top of the te Wai Pounamu, the south island of NZ, Blenheim (pop 19,500) is the main town in the province of Marlborough, New Zealand's premiere wine growing district. Although it is the largest wine growing area in the country, the town's provinical nautre is still reflected in its claim to fame of having no traffic lights.
The geographic middle of Blenheim, Redwoodtown Village is the largest (but still small) shopping area in the southern part of Blenheim.
On the corner of Weld St and Cleghorn St, the village is easily accessed from the town centre by heading south on Scott St or from the main highway from the south by going left at riverlands onto labama Rd and then going left (south) on Scott St to Cleghorn St.
Redwoodtown Doctors is in the former PostBank building and offers immediate floor level access from the road, disabled parking, street parking outside and abundant off street parking within 2 minutes walk.
The Redwoodtown shopping area offers the Redwoodtown Pharmacy, the Bakery plus post shop, supermarket, dairy and a number of other small shops. Saturday morning features the flea market in the Redwoodtown tavern car park.
